DIY Dog Ice Cream Tutorial

  • Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 32 oz plain yogurt
  • 2 medium sized bananas
  • 3-4 tbsps peanut butter

Directions:

This is a super easy and forgiving recipe that only requires three ingredients: plain yogurt, bananas and peanut butter! (Make sure the peanut butter you use is xylitol free because this is harmful for your dogs.)

Add all three ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour the mixture into silicone molds. I am using these paw and bone shaped molds from Amazon.

* This mixture filled two molds easily.

Moving these full molds into the freezer can be difficult so I suggest placing the molds on top of a large notepad or piece of cardboard before filling for easy transport.

Put molds into the freezer until treats are completely frozen. Once solidified, simply remove from the silicon molds and store in the freezer. And ta-da, you’ve got some tasty frozen ice block treats for your pup to enjoy during the summer!
