There are countless reasons to love Dobermans – they are one of the most loyal and devoted breeds, often referred to as “velcro dogs” due to their unceasing attachment to their owners!

Despite their dark “scary” coloring and general reputation as guard dogs, these loveable pooches are often sweet softies. Today we’re highlighting 15 mixed breeds that take the awesomeness that is the Doberman, and add to it!

What’s your favorite Doberman mixed breed? Any we missed? Share your thoughts in the comments!

I rescued a Doberman Shepherd 50/50 mix from a shelter in Flagstaff, AZ in the 1970’s and I want another one. Anyone have any information on breeders or dogs?

This is fab. I now know what my rescue really is, after seeing the Collie/Doberman mix…he’s a Dobie! Identical to the picture except he’s a younger version with no grey muzzle.

This will really help…I can tweak my training now to not only satisfy his collie side but his Doberman side also. Thanks for this post. I feel enlightened!!

Oh my gosh! I love these! I was looking at them with my daughter and said, “I doubt they will show a Doberman/ Greyhound.” Then there it was! I’ve always had Doberman, but the one mix I had was a Doberman/ Greyhound and the one in the photo looks exactly like my Chyanne did. ♥️

There is nothing “cute” about puppy mills and back yard breeders who create “designer dog” mixed breed mutts from pet quality dogs who should not be bred in the first place and rip people off huge amounts for them. Millions of dogs are killed every year because there are way too many bred.

The second dog is not a mixed breed. It’s a different breed called a Beauceron.
