Poodles are cute fluffy dogs known for their intelligence and elegance, making them choice dogs for any canine fan.

Even though that curly fur can be recognized anywhere, there are many poodle breed mixes that come in different colors and sizes (often toting that famous curly coat). We’re listing some of the most beloved poodle breeds here — let us know which are your favorites in the comments!

Be sure to check out some of the best dog foods for poodles!

2. Cockapoo: Cocker Spaniel x Poodle Mix

These puppies are funny, small-sized, easy to train, and perfect to be your partner. Their loving and outgoing personality will make you want to have them around all the time. As a Cocker Spaniel mix, don’t be surprised if you end up with a pup who boasts some extra-long ears along with the Poodle’s famous fluffy coat.

5. Jack-A-Poo: Jack Russell Terrier x Poodle Mix

Remember Milo from “The Mask”? A cute Jack Russell puppy with a personality bigger than his own size! If you mix that up with the intelligence, adorableness, and elegance of poodles, you get the incredible Jack-A-Poo!

Active, obedient and funny, this little guy is just great.

6. Labradoodle: Labrador Retriever x Poodle Mix

I am the proud Mom of a Choodle! She weighs 5 pounds and is the love of my life!! It didn’t take much to train her, as it seems that she was trained when she was born. She loves everybody, especially children! And she barely ever barks. I would love to see Choodles added to this list!

I just Love this breed. We just lost our beloved cockapoo of 13 years to malignant melanoma. Never heard of a dog getting that kind of cancer. It was so quick. Totally devastated. Thank you for posting these darlings. Do you sell any of the cockapoos ? We would like to get a apricot brown colored one. Any help would be appreciated.

Reply
Ben Team

Hey, Julie. Sorry, but no — we don’t sell any dogs. We just share information and photos of them.
Thanks for reading!

No listing of a popular peek-a-poo ?? I’ve had a few of this breed and they have all the qualities of the poodle and pekenese. My dogs have never shed and they are gentle loving, smart witted and the perfect family dog if you are a fan of small. 10 to 13 lbs of LOVE

Oops! Sorry about that, Casidy. Sometimes we find photos that have been accidentally mislabeled.
We’ll fix that ASAP — thanks for pointing out the mixup.
